OnePlus Getting Into Crypto, a Chinese smartphone manufacturer may be considering entering the cryptocurrency market. The firm was recently discovered conducting a blockchain research poll aimed at gathering consumer input on cryptocurrencies. Users are being asked if they have utilized trading services such as BuyUcoin. The news was first reported by MySmartPrice, and the poll is named OnePlus Blockchain Research, implying that OnePlus is considering launching a cryptocurrency platform or wallet. The increased popularity of cryptocurrencies, particularly among young people, may have prompted OnePlus to do the survey. It’s impossible to know what the survey’s goal is, but it appears that OnePlus is interested in the Cryptocurrency industry.

The OnePlus Blockchain Research survey, which is a Google Form, appears to be focused on blockchain understanding. Some queries, on the other hand, point to the development of a new Cryptocurrency platform that might serve as a cryptocurrency wallet. The survey asks if a user has ever invested in cryptocurrencies and if so, the platforms they used to do so. It also asks about what device users use to invest in cryptocurrency and whether they’ve utilized any “software hot wallets” like the Coinbase Wallet or MetaMask.

This is one of the first indications that a mainstream smartphone manufacturer is interested in cryptocurrencies. Since February 2019, Samsung has been rumored to support Bitcoin and other prominent cryptocurrencies on its Galaxy smartphones. Samsung provides support for major currencies through its Blockchain Wallet.
